Hidden Figures Cast Visits Kennedy Space Center, Florida.

On December 12, 2016 NASA invited media to Kennedy Space Center to talk with cast members from the 20th Century Fox motion picture Hidden Figures.

The film is based on the book of the same title, by Margot Lee Shetterly, and chronicles the lives of Katherine Johnson, Dorothy Vaughan and Mary Jackson — African-American women working at NASA as “human computers,” who were critical to the success of John Glenn’s Friendship 7 mission in 1962. – NASA

Media was invited to the Kennedy TV Auditorium where we were able to talk to Theodore Melfi (Director/Writer), Taraji P. Henson (plays Katherine Johnson), Octavia Spencer (plays Dorothy Vaughan), Janelle Monáe (plays Mary Jackson), Pharrell Williams (Producer) and Bill Barry (NASA historian).
